10 Wedding Hair Tips Every Bride Must Know

Updated: Jan 7, 2023

Add hair extensions.

Adding hair extensions is recommended on your wedding day because it adds so much volume and length so it opens up the range of hair styles that you can achieve.

Bridal hair trial.

Getting a hair trial gives you options and you get to try the look that you want to achieve on your wedding. It is a great way to try out the style before you commit to a look.

Bring hair inspiration.

Make sure you bring a picture of your hair inspiration so that you and your hair stylist can team up to achieve the look.

Avoid haircuts.

As much as possible, avoid having a haircut right before you wedding. But if you really want to cut it, try cutting it 6 moths prior to your wedding. This way you still have time to grow it back just in case the result is not what you were expecting.

Stay true to yourself.

Whenever you're gathering inspiration to your hair, dress and everything, make sure to stay true to yourself, this will make you feel comfortable.

Switch it up.

If you have a couple of looks that you really want for your wedding, and you can't decide which one to go to, you can have two different looks for your wedding day from the ceremony to the reception. you can just switch it up!

Second day hair.

To make your hairstyle last longer, wash your hair the night before.

Touch up bag.

Have a little bag with essentials like lipstick, hairbrush or whatever you want to put in there that you can use to touch up throughout the day.

Have fun!

This is the most important tip on your wedding! Your wedding day goes by so quickly, make sure to sit back and enjoy it.
