Boho Hair: Featuring the Ferguson Twins

A couple years ago, I had the chance to meet the ever-sweet Ferguson twins, Emily, and Hayley Ferguson. We did a pre-wedding styled shoot at the Lotus House, Las Vegas. It's actually one of my favorite wedding venues to date because I'm so in love with its modern design and clean interiors. It's such a unique space with both amazing outdoor and indoor spaces.

Now, about their hair. I knew their dresses were going to be romantic, flowy and will have a lot of flowery and lacey details so I decided to go the boho route. But I didn't necessarily want them to match, rather compliment each other's styles. So, I put Emily's hair in a half up half down with braids while Hayley's was up in a braided textured bun. Just two nice boho styles <3

So, what exactly is a boho hairstyle?

When I think boho bridal style, I think beachy waves, braids and lots and lots of texture! I love boho wedding hairstyles because they are so effortless yet playful, unstructured but romantic.

Where else can you wear them?

They are so perfect for garden weddings, summer parties, and even holiday events. They add such a fresh carefree spin to the usual clean and well-put-together hairdos we are so used to. Plus, they don't take much time to style at all!

So yeah, this was a really fun photoshoot that I love revisiting. Also, such a nice throwback cause if you've been following the twins you should know that they are both already married and starting their own little families of their own. I'm super happy for them!
